LOTR Ent roleplay
Silva looked up at the night sky. So bright and clear. She could see the stars that are often hidden behind the other stars -- so many... too many to ever count.
She wondered how long she had been here.
How long it seemed!
How long she had been floating on these endless waves...
How long since she had seen her Ent-husband...
She could not tell how long it had been since she had last heard the voices of one of her sisters, either. She had not seen one of them for an even longer time; she had learned quickly that too much movement rendered her face down in this salty brine. This must be the sea.
The journey here had been swift and cold, upon the quick river currents that brought and took precious waters to the trees she loved so dearly. She wondered often how the forests were doing. She also often wondered what had happened that night... that fateful night when she and so many of her sisters had been washed down the rivers, on their way into these vast, never-ending waves.

Re: LOTR Ent roleplay
Gollum carefully watched the water below him which was slowly stirring with movement.
His large eyes followed the fish which resided in the stream below him. All he had to do was wait for a little while more and then he'd have the fish all to himself...
He waited for a second. Two. Three...and then he reached out his hands and yanked the fish out of the water, slamming it against the cold, hard ground quickly after he had taken it from the water.
((That was a rather lame intro on my part.))
